Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals are one of the eight founding franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL), winners of the inaugural season in 2008, finalists of the 2013 Champions League T20 and finalists of the 2022 IPL.

The Royals are on a mission to ‘Transform Society through Cricket, Transform Cricket through Innovation’ with their pioneering approach and undying spirit. Born from the commitment to entertain cricket fans and unearth new talent in India and across the globe, they have been at the forefront of identifying and nurtuting talented cricketers since its inception. Rooted in Rajasthan, the Royals embody the state’s pride, resilience and fighting spirit.

It is a team of many firsts, not just on the field but also in the digital and analytical realms. From being the first team to lift an IPL trophy, to broadcasting a designated YouTube channel in November 2008 and to becoming the first franchise to systematically use data and analytics in cricket – the Royals have consistently led by example.

As a business, the Royals generate revenue from sale of media rights as well as sponsorship, ticketing and merchandise – underpinned with a very strong and growing fan base.

'The Royals Way'
On the field, Rajasthan Royals play fearless, high-intensity cricket that gives young players a stage to express themselves.

The team’s pathway programmes have produced India internationals such as Yashasvi Jaiswal, Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel, reflecting the franchise’s long-term commitment to developing home-grown talent and the future of the Indian cricket team. The Royals also introduced Vaibhav Suryavanshi in 2025, who at just 14 became the youngest men’s T20 centurion and recorded the second-fastest century in IPL history.

Off the field, “The Royals Way” is about creativity, purpose and impact – using the power of cricket to inspire positive change.
